Friday 20th March saw the opening of our first store in Africa.
You will find our first Gelato Caffe located in a relaxed coastal area at Pont de Gue Gue, Gabon. Here you will be able to enjoy our full range of gelato and sorbets, either as stunning sundaes or meltingly delicious ice cold scoops, along with a range of treats such as extra thick milkshakes or our freshly ground coffee made from our signature blend containing award-winning single estate Tanzanian beans.
We hope this is the first of many stores in this region!

Morelli's Gelato is now taking our gelato to the heart of London!
We are busy getting everything ready for our new store, which will be located in Covent Garden. This taste of Morelli’s will be small but beautiful and from here we will share the silky swirls of our signature Gelato and invite all who glide past to experience what it is to 'Awake the child in you!'
Our bijou store will still pack a mighty punch and will offer our gelato, sorbets and soft vanilla alongside our spectacular signature sundaes and own-blend coffee and panini.

Morelli's Gelato is delighted to announce the opening on 22 February 2014 of our first store in the Saburtalo district of Tbilisi, Georgia.
Located in an exclusive area of Georgia’s capital city, our beautiful new store will be open early until late. Our Gelato Caffe, offers our fresh gelato as simple scoops or spectacular sundaes, along with natural fruit sorbets and frozen yoghurt. Alternatively we offer delicious cakes and pastry, served with our signature freshly ground Arabica blend of coffee, made using single estate coffee beans from the misty foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. During the evenings, sip elegant sorbetto cocktails or chilled Venetian prosecco!
As in all our stores, as the sun rises over the city our comprehensive range of fresh Italian gelato will be produced right in the store using the exquisite secret recipe that has been passed down since 1907 through five generations of the Morelli family using only the finest all-natural ingredients.

At 5am every morning, just a stone’s throw from the beach, our fresh Italian gelato, is being produced right in the store, using the exquisite secret recipe that has been passed down since 1907 through five generations of the Morelli family and, as always, contains all natural ingredients of the finest quality.
There’s something for everyone; smooth creamy gelato, natural fruit sorbets, the refreshing taste of frozen yoghurt or our signature freshly ground Arabica blend of coffee, made using single estate coffee beans from the misty foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro.

After 10 fabulous and highly successful years located at Harrods, and after much encouragement from our customers, Morelli's Gelato is now taking our iconic Ice Cream Parlour - which we created in 2003 in its first magnificent form in the Candy Room - on to the streets of London! 1000 pieces of marble hewn in the hills of Italy, formed the cradle in which the finest gelato has been served to a decade of loyal customers. Now, our unique insistence on quality and magic has inspired us to seek out our very own London flagship instead.
Thank you all for your support and kind words - you have been central to our decision to move forwards and we can't wait to open our own doors and welcome you all to the world's best ice cream parlour.... From here we will share the silky swirls of our signature gelato and invite all who glide past to experience what it is to...'Awake the child in you!'
Over the past decade we have taken Morelli's Gelato to the world … the spectacular Café de Paris in Monte Carlo … the incredible Dubai Mall .. the mall metropolis of Manila .. the energy of Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur … in addition to Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Dallas and in the coming months Georgia and Gabon … with more exotic and romantic places still to come . Whilst taking Italy’s most delicious signature across the oceans we have of course invited those for whom the English seaside is synonymous with summer … to dwell a while at Morelli's, Broadstairs, where we established our roots in 1932. As the English seaside has enjoyed it’s renaissance, so have we continued to define childhood and it’s carefree flavours...
While we evolve and grow - we hope that all of our wonderful customers who have been so gracious to us over the years – will come and find us in London …. and other far away places...!

We heard about the Belle-V ice cream scoop and wanted to give it a try so we asked our Product Director and all-round ice cream guru Gino Soldan to check it out.
The scoop’s creator claims that the ergonomic design helps with scooping fresh-from-the-freezer ice cream without breaking your wrist due to the angled head and heat-conducting capability of the metal used to make the scoop.
So, what was Gino’s verdict? He loved the beauty of the scoop and is so beautiful that it doesn’t need to be hidden away in the utensils draw. He tested it on supermarket-bought deep freeze ice cream and for this hard ice cream it was very good scooping and was easier than most scoops at getting ice cream that likes to hide in the corner of the container!
However when using it on our gelato or soft gelato it didn't perform any differently to a standard scoop. You see, our gelato is obviously best enjoyed freshly made in our stores, but if you need to have some at home in your freezer (and we all know that’s a perfectly normal desire!) we always recommend that you leave your gelato for 15 minutes to ‘warm up’ and soften to the correct gelato consistency. We know this wait can be torture, but these 15 minutes make all the difference to your sublime gelato experience! This soft, creamy consistency means that any old scoop will do, and you can even use a spoon to scoop out your gelato.
So, in conclusion we do love this scoop as it is beautiful. For anyone unlucky enough to not have access to our delicious gelato it certainly helps with digging hard ice cream out of its container, but for our gelato it really isn’t necessary.

Inspired by the flavours and variety of Europe, our Morelli's Gelato version of European Fantasy combines our trademark Morelli's dairy vanilla with the delicious nutty crunch of roasted, caramelised almonds and rich swirls of delicious chocolate sauce. We are sure you will enjoy every mouthful!

We are delighted to announce the opening of our first Morelli's Gelato Express store in Dallas, Texas, exclusively serving our world famous "soft gelato"! Located within the Zaguan Latin Café and Bakery in downtown Dallas, our Italian gelato is a guilt-free way to enjoy 'la dolce vita' as it is lower in calories than traditional ice cream and tastier than frozen yoghurt (at least we think so!) . We have also incorporated the essence of Latin America with our heavenly 'dulce de leche' soft gelato alongside our trademark dairy vanilla, made from our secret family recipe dating back to 1907!
Our creamy and smooth gelato can be enjoyed on its own or combined in one of our delicious takeaway sundaes with a range of fruits, nuts, or other toppings including our decadent chocolate hazelnut sauce.
